The Sustainable Apparel Coalition (SAC) was founded by a group of sustainability leaders from global apparel and footwear companies and non-profit organizations who recognize that addressing the industry’s current social and environmental challenges are both a business imperative and an opportunity.
The coalition seeks to lead the industry toward a shared vision of sustainability by measuring and evaluating apparel and footwear product sustainability performance using The Higg Index. It then highlights priorities for action and opportunities for technological innovation.
ÖHLIN/D supports the SAC as an affiliate member. Like our peers, our goals are to produce no unnecessary environmental harm and have a positive impact on the people and communities associated with our activities.
